Learn how to play in Roanoke: The Lost Colony

In August 1587, when a group of about 115 English settlers arrived on Roanoke Island, off the coast of what is now North Carolina. The plan was to establish the 1st permanent settlement in the new world. All of the colony's inhabitants disappeared without a trace, leaving only a single clue….a word—“Croatoan”—carved into a wooden post. What happened to the Colonist?… No one has ever been able to solve the mystery until now…..
Sunday’s Schedule:
Gates open at 7:00am
Check in starts at 7:15am
Breakfast from Snack Shot will be available from 7:30am - 10:00am

Game starts at 10:00am
Game break will be from 12:00pm-12:30pm

Raffle 3:00pm - 3:30pm
Final Battle 3:45pm - 4:15pm
Final score, awards for MVP/MVT, and the after party will begin at 4:30pm at Snackshot.

GAME 1: Discover the New World
You and the other colonists have arrived to the new world in hopes of a new life. Now that you have arrived you must set up your colony, gather supplies and claim vital lands. Be careful though, it is rumored that others are also trying to settle the new world. Beware of the natives they have been known to attack.
Objectives:
1) Each team must protect their Colony. Protect your flag from the opposition colonists.
- 1000 points for Colony Flag Capture
(RED TEAM) BASE CASTLE
(BLUE TEAM) BASE OCTAGON
2) Find supplies like food, water, livestock and wood to survive the winter. Players must bring supplies back to their respawn point to score.
- 250 per animal (cows, pigs, chickens)
- 150 per food container
- 150 per water container
- 150 per wood bundle
- 500 bonus points for capturing 2 of each resource
3) Capture and defend valuable territory.
- 200 points for all territory captured at the end of the game
GAME 2: The Lost Colony
3 long years have passed since the first round of colonies settled the new world. When the new settlers arrive to check in on the family and friends, everyone has disappeared without a trace. You must find out what happened to our fellow colonists.
Objectives:
1) 14 clues have been left behind. Find the clues left on pieces of parchment and bring them to the Governor (Head Referee) who will give you further instructions.
- 100 points for each parchment found
- 500 points for each completed
2) Find all 3 dare stones.
- 300 points per stone
3) Each team must protect their Colony. Protect your flag from the opposing colonists.
- 1000 points for Colony Flag Capture

Player Points:
- 10 Points for every player shot out of the game (this will be tracked at respawn)
**Players caught cheating will cost their team (-100 points) don’t cheat...it's
not cool.
Respawn:
One location for each team behind the main base. At the start of each game, respawn will be instant. Players must touch respawn points.
Medic:
Medics will be roaming throughout the field and will be represented by a medic armband and purple vest. Each player will be given a medic card. When a player is eliminated, they can respawn by bringing their card to the medic or original respawn area. The medic will punch out a hole in the card and the player will then be able to return to the game. On the third punch, the player must return to the original respawn area. The medic is a referee.
Perks:
Several perks are located throughout the fields.
Shields:
Several shields are located through the field and players can use them to protect themselves. If a player gets shot out they must drop the shield where they are standing.
*Magic Time Machine: Find this perk and stop the opposing team from respawning for 4 minutes. Players must bring perks out of the game to the head referee to use.
*Famine hits: Find this perk and eliminate players of the opposing team on a single playing field (I.e. hyperball field or D-day). Players must bring the perk out of the game to the head referee to use.
*The Plague: Use this perk and kill everyone on a sign field. Spin the wheel to determine what field will be eliminated
*Enchanted Arrows: Use the Enchanted arrows to eliminate a player behind a riot shield.
*Attack, Attack, Attack: Use this perk to recruit the natives and have them join your team.
